About Angels Among Us Daycare, Inc.
Where children learn, grow, and thrive.
Since opening our doors in 2004, Angels Among Us Daycare, Inc. has been committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and grow to their fullest potential. Founded by Stephanie Malindima, our daycare began from a passion for caring for children with love, attention, and personalized support. Today, we continue that mission across our two locations, including our second facility in Mishawaka, providing quality care for families throughout the area.
Our highly trained and certified staff use the HighScope Curriculum and the On My Way PreK program to give preschoolers a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We also provide balanced meals through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), age-appropriate toys, hands-on activities, and outdoor learning spaces that encourage creativity, social development, and physical growth.
At Angels Among Us Daycare, Inc., we go beyond childcare. We foster a family-focused community where children feel loved and supported, and parents feel confident that their little ones are receiving the highest quality care. Communication is key, which is why we use Brightwheel to share updates, photos, and messages throughout the day, keeping families connected every step of the way.
With our Level 3 Paths to Quality certification, you can trust that your child’s growth and development are our top priority. From sensory play to STEM activities, from arts and music to outdoor exploration, we provide a comprehensive program designed to nurture the whole child—mind, body, and heart. Our Philosophy
Angels Among Us Daycare’s goal is to provide a safe, warm, happy, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially—at their own pace.

We encourage families to communicate daily with our staff, and we offer several ways to stay connected. Communication can take place through our business phone, cell phones, texting, parent mailboxes, email, Facebook page, and the Brightwheel app.
The Brightwheel app serves as a central platform for family communication. Through Brightwheel, we share photos, videos, and updates about your child, as well as send and receive messages that reach all teachers. Each child has their own secure news feed, accessible only to their family and teachers. Brightwheel is also used for viewing invoices and making payments.
We believe that a strong partnership between families and staff is essential to each child’s success. Children learn best through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. We set clear expectations, helping children quickly learn routines and understand what is expected of them. This is reinforced through modeling appropriate behavior, encouraging positive choices, and celebrating them with smiles and hugs.
Our activities are designed to support sensory-motor development, language growth, cultural awareness, and social interaction. We also place a strong emphasis on building self-esteem. Children are taught to respect themselves, others, adults, and their environment.
